Control Gates

The adjustable opening of the Tecweigh Control Gate provides flow control of aggregate materials ranging from sand to 6” material making it ideal for load-out, batching, and blending applications.

Tecweigh Control Gates feature heavy duty galvanized steel construction and permanently lubricated motor, gearbox and bushings. Replaceable abrasion resistant wear liner plates can be supplied for even longer gate life. For extremely corrosive environments, stainless steel construction is available.

A precision position sensor monitors open/closed percentage and a flow switch signals flow/no flow conditions. An open/close limit switch is provided for end of travel control. The control gate’s position sensor, flow switch, and open/close limit switch are designed to be tied in directly to the plant PLC. A selection of stand-alone controllers are also available.
