Responsible for detailed designs, ECO/ECR processing and various production support tasks. Must be mechanically minded, quick to learn, energized and self-motivated with the ability to work and produce independently.This position will work out of our office located in St. Paul, Minnesota following a Monday through Friday schedule.Specific Duties:Process new orders for custom equipment and systems as outlined by sales entry.Leverage existing designs of common parts to maintain product consistency.Generate detailed part and assembly 3D models and drawings for client and production use.Collaborate with the assembly team to resolve mechanical problems during build.Lead or support development of new products and legacy product improvements.Work with cross-functional teams (electrical, sales, manufacturing, procurement) to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.Provide direct support to the production team, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing corrective actions.Perform any other engineering tasks as required.
Job Requirements:Associate’s in Mechanical Design (Bachelor’s preferred).5+ years of experience in Engineering or Design/Drafting.Must be able to utilize and integrate all basic Microsoft Office products.Demonstrated proficiency producing engineering documents in SolidWorks.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:Proficiency in SolidWorks Sheet Metal.Experience with SolidWorks design tables.Related Industry Experience preferred. (pneumatics, conveying, material handling, etc.).Experience with EC/M1 or similar ERP software to create and manage Bills of Material.In office work environment, Exempt, hours Monday through Friday with an average minimum of 40-hours per work week. Exempt.Scope of Responsibilities:As a Parts and Customer Care Specialist, you will supply parts and components to our customers with industrial scales and feeders. Provide customer post-delivery support and follow up calls for spare parts and service opportunities. Our ideal candidate is someone personable with technical and mechanical aptitude, and eager to learn and grow within the industry.Specific Duties:· Help customers purchase the correct parts.· Accurately enter parts orders.· Relationship building and client follow-up.· Stay up to date on parts and their applications to provide informed advice and support.· Assist in parts pricing.· Collaborate with others.Job Requirements:· High school diploma or equivalent.· 3 – 5 years parts and customer support experience.· Ability to work under pressure and solve problems using critical thinking.· High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.· Personable and willing to communicate with customers in a positive and professional manner.· Customer service ability and interpersonal skills.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:· Technical and mechanically inclined.· Strong verbal communication skills to handle escalated customer issues professionally.· High attention to detail.· Eager to learn.· Self-motivation to perform job functions with minimal supervision (self-starter).· Computer proficiency, ERP ECI/M1 experience.Daily in office work environment, exempt, hours Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
